Wildcat Soaps uses the Cold Process method for crea􀆟ng our soaps. This method is designed to heat the soap from the inside outward, thus crea􀆟ng a smoother, solid texture. Cold saponifica􀆟on uses the heat generated from the combina􀆟on of the fa􀆩y acids in the melted oils and fats with sodium hydroxide to facilitate the process. During the three to four week curing stage, the sodium hydroxide completely emulsifies the oils and fats and removes all harmful effects of sodium hydroxide. This creates the cleaning power of our soaps.
